| RegistrationWe are under the supervision of the Private Vocational Schools Act. Students are required to complete 1500 hours of training. This equals approximately 10 months, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Upon completion of the course the student will receive a school diploma. The provincial license will be issued when the student has successfully passed the government exam. You must be 17 years of age and have our grade twelve diploma or GED. If you do not have your GED you may enroll, as long as you are aware that it must be completed in order to register for an apprenticeship. Classes begin the first Monday of each month. This allows you to start your training as soon as you like, and ensures that class sizes remain small and personal. Our teaching staff is composed of four licensed hairstylists whose salon experience is diverse. All instructors are approved by the government to teach hairstyling according to the provisions of the Private Vocational Schools Act. TUITIONThe cost of the course is $6000.00 which includes your complete kit and tuition. Your first monthly payment is $1050.00 followed by nine consecutive payments of $550.00. However, payments can be made in full, half or quarterly installments. Registration fee will be $100.00 and must accompany your application. If you choose to pay in a lump sum, the entire cost would be $5900.00, (a savings of $100.00).
